There’s no doubt that AJ will want to do his late friends proud and the first of his “multi-fight deal” includes a scrap with Albanian heavyweight Prenga.
Plus, if he comes out on top as expected, a long-awaited battle of Britain fight with is imminent with Ring Magazine reported that the encounter is now a ‘done deal’.
Joshua is certainly the heavy favourite for the summer extravaganza as his Albanian opponent has never fought a household name.
In addition to that, AJ’s only four defeats have come against respectable opponents – Andy Ruiz Jr, (twice) and a stoppage by Daniel Dubois.
However, Joshua will need to be wary of Prenga as the Albanian heavy-hitter stands at 6ft5 and has an impressive record of 20-1.

Joshua said: “It is no secret I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring and today is the next step on that journey.
“I’m delighted to have agreed a multi-fight deal starting with July 25th in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“I’m looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off.
“As I said, the landlord will collect his rent. That is certain.”
Kristian Prenga is confident he can pull off a shock win in Saudi.
Prenga said: “ is a great fighter, but he made a terrible miscalculation in picking me as his opponent.
“This is the kind of fight that changes everything in my life and his.
“I know they have big plans after this fight. I know they are overlooking me. I’m happy about that.
“I will derail their plans and shock the world this July in Saudi Arabia.”
