EDDIE HEARN has revealed Anthony Joshua’s plans for retirement – amid ongoing talks for him to fight Tyson Fury.

The former two-time unified heavyweight champion is on the cusp of finally sharing the ring with his long-time rival.

All that remains now for the Battle of Britain to come to fruition is for to get through a proposed warm-up fight in July.

SunSport understands a two-fight deal to fight Fury is in place for the Watford warrior.

“because I’m close to him. And he went, ‘Of course not’. He [said], ‘Do whatever you want. I’ve got no beef with [Jarrell] that was in the past.

“‘That’s done and done.’ Maybe I held on to that longer than he did. Or maybe he didn’t hold on to it at all. But now we’re working together.

“Look, Joshua’s gonna run out in July, and then he’s going to fight . He wants to go on for another three years.”

“There’s been drafts going back and forward. I say we’re pretty close now but not done.

“But we are 100 per cent committed to making the fight.

“And I think there’s a very good chance it will get done in over the next week.”
