He revealed last month that he – where amateurs compete to earn a PDC tour card – to “see what it’s like” after taking up darts alongside streaming.

Littler himself and said: “He can throw a dart here or there.

“If he gets the luck of the draw at that first stage of Q School, then he could potentially win a game there.

“If he doesn’t do it now, then, yeah, you know the word what he is… I think he should do it.”

With the backing of the world No1, Ginge revisited the subject while speaking on talkSPORT this week.

He explained: “I don’t think I’ve got a chance [of making it through] to be totally honest with you.

“But Q School, more for the experience. What harm can it do?

“Just go there, see what it’s about, enjoy it and take it in.

“In my opinion, I’m half-decent for the amount I play, so if I ever wanted to, in a few years, lock in and practice for four, five hours a day, you never know. Nothing’s impossible.”

Despite his enthusiasm, the streamer is not optimistic that he will be able to win a game.

He continued: “I’m not going to rock up and think I’ve got a chance. I’ll rock up, I probably won’t even win a game, never mind a leg.

“We’ll just see what happens, see what it’s about. You never know, in a few years I might lock in and try.”

Ginge went on to reveal what Littler thinks of his game, adding: “Luke’s said I’m actually quite decent. I think I’ve played against him a couple of times, and every time I’ve took a leg off him.

“Then I played him early last year and I missed one dart at double to beat him.”
