PRIME MINISTER Andy Burnham has been spotted alongside an Everton great at the Toffees’ Premier League opener against Crystal Palace.
Fans were surprised to see him sat next to legend at the Hill Dickinson stadium.

Despite having a season ticket in the South Stand of ‘s riverside ground, today Burnham was spotted in the directors box with legend Reid.
Reid and Burnham seem to have a good relationship – the 70-year-old, who made 159 league appearances for the Toffees, was seen campaigning for the now-PM back in June.
And it wasn’t the first time the double act have left fans baffled, as two-time English title winner, Reid, in July.
Fans took to social media to react to the latest sighting of the pair.
One wrote: Why is Peter Reid stood with again at the Everton game.”
Another said: “Just been shown on sky sports news, Why’s Peter Reid with him.”
While a third jokingly added: “Have I missed Peter Reid becoming Deputy PM?”
Reid won the Division One title twice with Everton in the 1980s, while also achieving glory with the Toffees by lifting the 1984 and 1985 European Cup Winners’ Cup.
The former defensive midfielder was also capped by 13 times and starred at the 1986 World Cup in .
Following his playing career, Reid moved into management, which included an exemplary stint as boss between 1995 and 2002 as he won the First Division – now the – twice with the Black Cats.
