ANDRE ONANA has been left out of Cameroon’s squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in another huge blow for the Manchester United reject.
Onana, on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor after being shipped out by in the summer, was snubbed from the team announced by Cameroon on Monday.

The 29-year-old’s omission comes as a huge surprise as he had been expected to start at the tournament in , which begins on December 21.
He has made three appearances for this season, with two of those fixtures ending in defeat for his national team.
The most recent loss came against DR Congo which saw out of the running to qualify for next summer’s World Cup.
Simon Omossola, Devis Epassy, Simon Ngapandouetnbu and Edouard Sombang will be the keepers heading to Afcon in his place.
United forward and Brighton’s , who was linked with a big-money move to , are representing the Prem contingent.
The squad announcement came on the same day Cameroon sacked manager Marc Brys with just three weeks until their opener against Gabon.
Days after being re-elected as Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) president, former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has replaced Brys with one of his assistants, David Pagou.
Onana was Cameroon’s first-choice keeper at the 2022 World Cup, which he infamously left during the tournament after being suspended by the country’s football federation.
He has kept three clean sheets in 10 appearances for Trabzonspor since his loan move.
Onana had been United’s No1 since joining the club from Inter Milan for £47.2million in 2023, but endured a difficult career at Old Trafford.
He lost his place to for the first three Premier Leagues of the season after suffering a hamstring injury early in the summer.
The former Ajax keeper was allowed to leave for Turkey on a season-long loan once United signed new No1 from Antwerp on deadline day.
Onana’s only appearance of the season came in the horror defeat by Grimsby on penalties.
