Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has said that he wants the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick back to his team as soon as possible.
Ancelotti spoke following Real Madrid’s FIFA Club World Cup 3-0 win against RB Salzburg in the early hours of today.
Both Mbappe and Endrick missed the RB Salzburg clash, as goals from Vinicius Junior, Valverde, and Gonzalo Garcia gave Los Blancos the victory against the Austrian club.
Mbappe has been out of action for Madrid due to an acute case of gastroenteritis, while Endrick is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.
Speaking at his post-match interview after Madrid defeated Salzburg, Ancelotti said of Mbappe, “We want him back in top shape. I can’t confirm if he will play, but we are optimistic for Tuesday [against Juventus].”;
Providing an update on Endrick, Ancelotti added, “He is still recovering, but we want him back soon.
“He will join us in the US for training, and I’m counting on him for the future.”;
