Former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu has been posted to Qatar as Nigeria’s Ambassador.
This is contained in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Friday.
According to the statement, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode was posted to Germany.
DAILY POST had reported that President Tinubu approved the posting of the 65 ambassadors whose nominations were confirmed last December, assigning them to their respective host countries.
Tinubu has directed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should immediately commence the induction programme for the ambassadors-designate and high commissioners.
