AMAZON has been forced to pull a best-selling novel from its site as it features graphic descriptions of babies being raped.
Horrified readers started a petition to ban the sale of the self-published “dark romance” book due to the sickening trivialisation of child sex abuse.

French mum-of-three and author Jessie Auryann’s latest release, Corps à coeur or Body to Heart in English, has sparked fury among readers.
The tale follows lead character Mélina, described as an erotic influencer with a troubled past, and her new-found relationship with a single dad.
The lengthy novel was published on Amazon with an 18-plus warning attached.
Several passages from the crude book have shown the depravity of the words put down on the page without any regulation.
One scathing review on Amazon described it as featuring “sexual violence, physical abuse and brutality”.
Many of the descriptions were related to minors and have been accused of glorifying paedophilia.
The petition said Auryann’s book “crosses an ethical and legal red line that requires immediate intervention”.
It gained over 50,000 signatures in a matter of days.
Auryann, 39, responded to the furious flock of readers saying she always makes sure to include “clear warning and explicit trigger warnings”.
She said: “For several days, a campaign of denigration and disinformation targets my work as an author and my person.
“Contrary to the claims made to damage my image, my novel includes clear warnings, an author’s note and explicit trigger warnings from the very first pages.”
The advertising for the book and its selling page on Amazon did not mention themes of paedophilia and child abuse.
Auryann’s online biography makes it clear she is aware her writing is on the edge.
Describing her style, the stay-at-home mum says it is mainly “thrillers and dark romance which can border on pornogore”.
She adds: “My stories are built around uncomfortable situations and sensitive subjects, delving into things we would rather not discover.
“I don’t hesitate to create disturbing and tortured scenes.”
Despite the backlash, Corps à coeur was in fifth place on the e-book bestseller list in France before it was taken off Amazon.
When asked about the decision to ban it, an Amazon spokesperson said: “We have strict content guidelines and require all books sold on Amazon to comply with applicable regulations.
“We promptly investigate any book when a concern is raised, and remove books that do not adhere to our guidelines.
“Following our investigations the title in question is being removed.”
High Commissioner for Children in France, Sarah El Haïry, made a statement on the outrage, saying: “Not everything can be written in the name of dark romance.”
It comes after an offences after a court ruled her book sexually objectified minors.
