"Alvaro Morata Opens Up About Heartbreak: 'We're Hurting' After Painful Split from Wife"

ALVARO MORATA says he is “suffering” after his heartbreaking split from wife Alice Campello – and the former Chelsea striker hit back at claims that he had an affair.

The Spaniard, 33, and the model tried to rekindle their relationship last January.

But they have gone their separate ways and confirmed their marriage is over.

And , who is on loan with Como from Serie A rivals AC Milan, has revealed that the break up has taken its toll.

He said: “We are suffering because we are two people who love each other, but we don’t understand each other.

“Alice isn’t having a worse time than me because many people say she’s the one who’s hurting.

“I want to make it clear that we’re both hurting, it’s not that she’s bitter, we’re both hurting.”

There have been suggestions that Morata has moved out of the family home he shares with Campello and their four young kids – Alessandro, Leonardo, Edoardo and Bella.
