FORMER Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly been axed from the Spain World Cup squad.
The 33-year-old two years ago β but he will not even play for the nation this summer.

Spanish outlet Dario AS claims that was excluded from the 55-man preliminary squad this week.
His former team-mate also failed to make the cut.
The 55-man list will be reduced to 26 players ahead of the tournament, which kicks off next month.
Morata has not featured for the national team since September, when he managed just 17 minutes off the bench against Turkey.
The striker has spent this campaign on loan at β managed by icon β from and has made 28 appearances.
During that time, Morata has scored just one goal.
