Alonso speaks on Rodrygo, Mbappe, Vinicius

New Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has insisted that the club need forward Rodrygo amid reports linking the Brazilian with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu to Arsenal this summer.

Alonso also said that the Los Blancos need to make the most use of the strengths of both Kylian Mbappe and Vinícius Junior.

The Spaniard recently spoke at his first press conference this week after his unveiling as Real Madrid’s new head coach.

Alonso said, “Rodrygo is a Real Madrid player. He is a spectacular player and we will need him.”;

He added, “Vini Jr. and Mbappé? We need to make the most of their strengths.”;

Recall that this summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old is reportedly demanding around €10m net per year to join the Gunners.

But the Premier League North London club is not prepared to go that far with the wages.
