Hernandez is a rising lightweight star after marking his debut with a 42-second knockout and now boasts a record of 15-7-0.
As for Johnson, he is a veteran of the octagon after beating big names like Dustin Poirier and Tony Ferguson and has a record of 24-19-0.
But shortly the bout before was due to start, organisation revealed Hernandez and Johnson would not be fighting.
Fans were left extremely disappointed as no reason was given either.
He said: “We got called from the gaming integrity service, and I said I’m not doing this s*** again. We pulled the fight.”
Now, Hernandez has spoken about his bout being axed at short notice.
He declared: “I would never dishonour myself or this sport by not giving my absolute all in competition.
“I have been through a great deal in my career to be in the auspicious position I am in. I do not take that lightly.
“I do not take my work or the work of others lightly. It is extraordinarily disheartening after a complete camp and weight cut to have a fight forfeited.
“Certainly from matters outside my control. I understand the FBI is doing their job.
“I understand the UFC is doing their job. I am trying to get back to doing my job as quickly as possible.
“I hope this matter is resolved with expedience. I am in the prime of my career. I do not want my time stolen.”
