DISGRACED attorney Alex Murdaugh has been granted a new trial for the 2021 double murders of his son and wife.
Murdaugh, a prominent member of the Lowcountry legal dynasty in South Carolina, was convicted in 2023 for the fatal shooting of his wife Maggie and youngest son Paul at their family’s sprawling hunting estate.
