It had going hip, hip hooray as his in-form Cottagers moved to within three points of seventh-placed .

Asked to describe his super strike, Iwobi replied: “Unique – that’s the best way to put it.

“I don’t think anyone has groins to open up their hip and side-foot it like that.

“When H passes to me I had one thought to side-foot it.

“I do it in training, so my team-mates weren’t surprised.”

Wilson had given a controversial lead inside seven minutes, smashing home after a push from Raul Jimenez on Radu Dragusin in the build-up was NOT given as a foul.

It took Welsh star Wilson’s tally to ten for the season in all competitions for the Cottagers.

His contract is due to expire in the summer and boss Silva is still hopeful of the 28-year-old penning fresh terms, even if the fight to keep him gets bigger with every dazzling display.

The Cottagers chief added: “He’s enjoying this season. He has the people around him to take care of the contract situation.

“Our club is trying to have contact with them as much as they can to solve it.

“I’m not going to hide it, the better he plays, the fight (to keep him) is going to be bigger. It’s clear. But we prefer it in this way.

“Of course when a player goes into the last year of contract and is performing so well like Harry is doing, it’s going to happen, these type of things.

“The reality is we are not giving up at all. We are very pleased with him. He’s enjoying life with us as well.

“Now it’s a moment for the people around him to take care of his future and of course for us as a club to try to get him with us for the next years.”
