Super Eagles stars Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke, and their teammates, have been confronted by angry Sevilla fans following the club’s poor run in the Spanish top-flight.
The Rojiblancos are currently battling against relegation.
Sevilla, who 8lost 1-0 to bottom club Real Oviedo last weekend, and are just two points outside the relegation zone.
According to French news outlet, L’Equipe, 50 masked fans intercepted the players at the entrance of the club’s training ground after the disappointing loss to Real Oviedo.
The frustrated fans hurled insults at the players and their officials to express their frustrations.
Sevilla will host Atletico Madrid in their next league game on Saturday.
