Former Djibouti national football team coach, Julien Mette, has picked Nigeria as a superior team offensively compared to Morocco amid the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
In an interview on After Foot RMC, Mette expressed confidence in the Super Eagles’ capabilities, stating, “When it comes to offense, Nigeria is superior to Morocco.
“On the Moroccan side, there is Brahim Diaz emerging, but if he goes out… Nigeria is capable of doing everything, killing you on the break, in a structured attack, on set pieces.
“There is no team equivalent to Nigeria in terms of athletic data, strength, and combativeness in duels.”
Both Nigeria and Morocco are entering the semi-finals following impressive victories over Algeria and Cameroon, respectively.
