Tunisia has become the latest team to advance, following their 1–1 draw with Tanzania in their final Group C match on Tuesday evening.
The Carthage Eagles had triumphed over Uganda with a 2–0 victory in their opening game, but faced a narrow defeat of 3–2 against Nigeria in their second match.
In the match against the Cranes, Ismael Gharbi scored from the penalty spot to give Tunisia the lead just before halftime.
However, Tanzania equalized three minutes after the restart through Feisal Salum.
This draw means Tunisia will finish as runners-up behind Nigeria.
