The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has released the full list of referees, and video assistant referees for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, DAIlLY POST reports.
No Nigerian was included in the list by CAF.
CAF included 28 centre referees and 14 VAR officials.
Host nation Morocco, Algeria, Egypt and Mauritania provided two centre referees.
Algeria’s Lahlou Benbraham, Egypt’s Mahmoud Ashour, Tunisia’s Haythem Guirat, Morocco’s Hamza El Fariq, and Senegal’s Djibril Camara are some of the VAR officials who will be heading to Morocco.
The competition will run from 21 December, 2025 to 18 January, 2026.
Morocco will take on Comoros in the opening game in Rabat on Sunday, 21 December.
