Nigeria midfielder Alex Iwobi has insisted that the Super Eagles won’t be intimidated by the large crowd at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium, Rabat, DAILY POST reports.
Hosts Atlas Lions of Morocco have enjoyed massive support from their fans at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The atmosphere at the ground is expected to be more intimidating when Iwobi and his teammates step on to field against the North Africans for their semi-final encounter on Wednesday night.
The Fulham star has however said they won’t be distracted by the home team’s supporters
“When we step onto the field, distractions are irrelevant; we maintain our focus and concentration. I am confident in our team’s abilities and preparations,” Iwobi told a pre- match press conference on Tuesday.
The game slated for the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium will kick-off at 9pm Nigerian time.
