The defending champions, Côte d'Ivoire, announced their final 26-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday, according to DAILY POST.

Head coach Emerse Fae has included former Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and Jean-Michaël Seri in the squad.

Zaha, who has had an impressive season with Charlotte FC in Major League Soccer (MLS), scoring 10 goals and providing six assists, is making his return to the team after nearly two years.

Seri is also making a comeback after a lengthy injury absence.

However, Fae has left out Simon Adingra, who was recognized as the Best Young Player of the Tournament on home soil during the last edition.

Nicolas Pépé was also omitted, despite his regular appearances for the Spanish club Villarreal this season. OGC winger Jérémie Boga was similarly excluded.

Côte d'Ivoire has been drawn into Group F, where they will compete against Cameroon, Gabon, and Mozambique.
