WHEN Tatty Lomas and her husband were asked to adopt his sister’s daughter, they immediately stepped up and welcomed the child into their home.
But a year and a half into their new lives as parents, Tatty uncovered a secret that changed everything – and there was no going back.

The host, whose candid videos have earned her 88K followers on Instagram, said she was physically sick after she found out that her husband was the biological father of their daughter.
She then made the heartbreaking decision to leave her husband, Steve, and their adopted child, and has been trolled by his family as a result.
She told her followers on her @tattylomas page: “So, my husband’s sister adopted a child four years ago.
“She’s spoken many times about wanting to be a mum, and she didn’t feel like she needed anyone’s help, so when her friend had a child that she didn’t want to keep, she stepped up and offered to adopt the baby.”

She said how everyone in the family was supportive of her sister-in-law’s decision and welcomed the baby immediately.
However, two and a half years ago, Tatty’s was diagnosed with (MS), and her health began to decline rapidly.
Tatty said: “She asked if we could support and take care of the child, and of course, we agreed.”
“Now, my husband never acted weird around this child, never acted like he had a secret.
“He acted like an uncle willing to step up and help out his sister.
“Now, recently, his sister confessed to me that my husband is the biological father of the child.”
Tatty explained that her sister-in-law couldn’t keep the truth from her any longer, especially with her health declining rapidly.
“She said that her best friend and my husband used to casually and occasionally, and then they did it right before we got married,” the influencer told her followers.
“And this child is a result of that infedelity. I vomited on the floor. “
As soon as Tatty returned home from the bombshell chat with her sister-in-law, she confronted her husband.
She demanded that he take a DNA test, so she could be sure.
Tatty revealed: “And the test confirmed that he is, in fact, the father.
“He told me that absolutely nothing had ever happened whilst we were married, he was so sorry, he loved me so much – I was so disgusted by this whole thing, I didn’t want to be around this man.”
She said that since discovering the DNA test results, she has been living at her sister’s house.
Tatty explained that she has no bad feelings towards the little girl, explaining how she was “innocent” and had done “nothing wrong.”

But she said: “I just simply can’t look at that child without seeing all the .”
Since her husband was exposed, Tatty has been inundated with phone calls from his family, begging her to stay with Steve.
She said: “I’ve ended up having to block so many people because I can’t deal with people just blaming and shaming me.
“They’re berating me for not even trying to do counselling or therapy. But I’m not going to lie, I just really don’t see a way back from this at all.”
She said that despite raising the child as if she were her own for a year and a half, she knows in her heart that she couldn’t be a good parent knowing the truth.
Her followers rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts on what had happened.
“Absolutely leave. Know your worth sis,” one wrote.
“You are so strong,” a second soothed.
“The fact that his family is blaming this woman for reacting to his acts is infuriating,” a third pointed out.
“You’re right leaving him, you can do better,” another echoed.
Although some felt it was unfair to the child for Tatty to leave.
“It’s absolutely not the child’s fault. She loves you, and you are the mother figure to her. Yes, leave your husband, but don’t leave the little girl,” one said.
Thankfully, the story had a happy ending for Tatty and she has since found love with a new man.
