Despite winning the show, , the brothers claimed he had been “exploited”, especially on the live show when Jimmy Bullard and directed their comments at him once again, following their respective clashes while on the show.

Adam said: “I just felt like I’d just been exploited and I think you can see it at the end of the live show.”

Twin brother – who has appeared on two series of with the network – later said: “All those campmates were pissed off at ITV. It wasn’t your issue. It is ITV’s issue.

“In those shows, you get eaten alive, because it is so toxic. This is what is cut-throat about these shows: they are so high-risk. It wasn’t your fault, it was the way ITV played it.”

The comments may certainly have come as a surprise to many considering the siblings have had a strong relationship with ITV for over two decades.

Adam used to star in , while older brother was in for 16 years before going on to appear on Dancing on Ice in 2024.

In 2020, the brothers also filmed Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai, while last year, Adam and Ryan co-hosted game show, 99 to Beat.

However, the Daily Mail has claimed insiders have revealed the family’s relationship with ITV is ‘on the rocks’, amid the fact there’s been no plans for Adam to appear on any ITV shows this week to discuss his I’m a Celeb victory.

Regarding the latest episode of At Home with the Thomas Bros, the insider told the outlet: “It was a clear message. Adam is furious and he doesn’t want to tell his story anyway near ITV.”

The spectacular fall out during Friday’s live final

A spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “The edit gives a fair and accurate representation of life in camp.

“The duty of care for our contestants is of the utmost importance to us. We have measures in place to ensure celebrities are supported at every stage of the process.

“The production team monitors everyone in camp and if at any time we felt someone overstepped the line of acceptable behaviour, then we would intervene.”
