THE mother of Adam Peaty’s son has slammed his decision to change his name after marrying Holly Ramsay.
Eiri Munroe – who shares five-year-old George with the Strictly star – told friends she thought it was “hypocritical”.

The Olympic swim ace, 31, will as will his bride, 25, in another blow to his estranged family.
A friend of his artist ex – who he split from in 2021 – says she wanted George to take her surname plus Adam’s, but claims he refused.
Adam revealed on Instagram he is taking new wife Holly’s surname after wedding at Bath Abbey on Saturday.
Eiri’s pal told The Sun: “It feels a bit rich to Eiri that Adam has been quick to change his name but didn’t allow her the same right for their son.
“It appears Adam is being a bit hypocritical.”
The family friend said Eiri was proud to see George with Adam at the wedding — and praised Holly.
They added: “Holly has been such a positive influence on Adam. They both dote on George. Eiri knows she is lucky that George has a stepmum like Holly.
“Although she says Adam has double standards over changing his name, she can’t fault him as a dad.”

A source said of his new name: “This will feel like a massive slight to Caroline and (Adam’s dad) Mark but Adam just wants the circus to end.
“Holly wanted to double-barrel their surnames and Adam has followed suit. It’s what they always planned.
“His parents may be upset but it’s not intentional.”
Adam and Holly headed off on their two-week honeymoon today, with our exclusive photos showing them leaving the London home of Holly’s dad, celebrity chef .
Holly looked chic in a long white coat while Adam wore grey trousers, black jumper and cap.
They appeared happy and relaxed as they handed bags and cases to a driver.

Earlier Adam was seen in a wedding-themed top bearing their initials, the wedding date and two lovebirds.
Meanwhile dad Mark took the family dog for a walk in Uttoxeter, Staffs.
