ADAM Peaty’s dad has broken his silence after the Olympic swimmer’s brother was arrested over alleged violent threats.

Five officers met 30-year-old Adam’s plane when it arrived at Manchester Airport at the weekend and .

Adam’s father Mark told The Sun: “They’re brothers.
“They’ve always been close but like any normal family, brothers fight, argue, fall out, make-up and start all over again. But it’s got out of hand.
“There’s been very little empathy towards Jamie’s genuine mental health difficulties.”
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We arrested a 34-year-old man, from the Uttoxeter area, on November 11, 2025, on suspicion of harassment.
“The man was released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.”
It follows Adam’s mum Caroline, 59, being snubbed from Holly’s hen do and uninvited from next month’s wedding at Bath Abbey, a move that sparked a furious online
However, a source close to Adam and Holly said: “ is heart-breaking from both sides.
“But the reality is that Adam sees his mum Caroline to be enabling his brother’s actions rather than pushing him to deal with his demons.
“Poor Caroline must feel utterly torn and it’s just very hard for everyone.

Discussing Monday’s arrest, a family source close to James insisted he would “never hurt his brother Adam”.

The brothers first fell out when Adam wrote about James’s “demons” when discussing his brother’s past drug issues in his 2021 autobiography.
It’s understood the brothers have not been on speaking terms since June when James had been working on a building project for Adam.
James had been asked to be a groomsman at the wedding, but was not invited on the stag-do owing to the row.
A family source told The Sun: “Adam and James were always close and they just fight like siblings always fight and argue between themselves.
“They’ve always made-up and been there for each other but since Adam’s engagement, relationships have deteriorated.

“James has worked for Adam on his home and has been under a lot of pressure.
“James’s has taken a turn for the worse since June and he hasn’t been communicating with Adam since then.
“Before that, he was supposed to be a groomsman at Adam’s wedding.
“James lost a baby in August last year and his wife Charlotte had another miscarriage in recent weeks.
“All of that has impacted his mental health in a big way.
“Adam also fell out with his older half-brother Rich, who was working for him too.
“The family has really gone through hell over all this.”
The family were also upset by comments they say Adam made to his mother about outfits she had bought for the wedding.
The source said: “Adam told his mum that she couldn’t wear the two dresses she had bought for the wedding for £700 and the family believe that came from Holly.”
