ABDUKODIR KHUSANOV was lucky to escape a horror injury as he was forced off against Liverpool.

The Manchester City star lined up as his side faced their fierce rivals in a crunch Premier League clash on Sunday.

But Khusanov’s game was ended on the hour mark after a terrifying collision.

The defender made an attempt to block Liverpool star Cody Gakpo from taking a shot in City’s penalty area.

At the same time, teammate Gianluigi Donnarumma came rushing out from his goal to also sweep away the danger.

However, the Italian goalie ended up accidentally smacking his knee into Khusanov’s face.
