ARSENAL hero Aaron Ramsey swapped football boots for running shoes as he smashed his personal best at the Stockholm Marathon.
The former midfielder stunned fans by casually taking on the gruelling 26.2-mile challenge over the weekend.

And Ramsey proved his elite fitness levels have not disappeared since hanging up his boots.
The Welshman completed the race in an impressive time of two hours, 59 minutes and 20 seconds.
That saw Ramsey break the three-hour barrier and achieve a new personal best.
The 35-year-old proudly showed off his medal after crossing the finish line in Sweden.
He wrote on Instagram: “PB 2:59:20 what a great event.”
He also thanked his long-term partners, and the Adidas Stockholm Marathon, for looking after him.
Fans were left seriously impressed by Ramsey’s latest sporting achievement.
One said: “Incredible run well done.”

Ramsey announced his retirement from professional in April following a glittering career.
The ex-Wales international spent over a decade at after joining from Cardiff City in 2008.
He became a fan favourite in North London, scoring 64 goals and providing 60 assists in 369 appearances for the club.
Ramsey also famously netted winning goals in two finals for Arsenal before spells with , , , Cardiff and Mexican side Pumas UNAM.
