The former TV star was spotted unloading his speakers and decks outside Cinema in Stockport as he arrived for his DJ gig.

Dressed in a T-shirt, jeans and trainers he looked miles away from his role on the beloved BBC series.

He was last on TV screens in 2010 when he appeared in a couple of episodes of as Gavin, a disastrous internet

It’s Nick Conway who played Billy Boswell, the youngest son of the family in the TV comedy hit Bread.

Bread first aired 40 years ago in May 1986 and ended in November 1991.

The show followed the Catholic, working-class Boswell family in , led by formidable matriarch Nellie, as they navigated life with wit, resourcefulness, and dubious means of support in 1980s Britain.

It was a massive hit in its day, peaking at a huge 21 million viewers.

Nick has also appeared in Starting Out, Thank You Mrs Clinkscales, When Saturday Comes, Keep On Running Mr. Salter and Juliet Bravo.

The former TV star, now goes by his real name Nick Campbell for his DJ career and his life away from the spotlight is now very different.

He has his own website to advertise his DJ services for , parties and functions in the north west of England.

Nick began DJing in his late 20’s as he had already amassed a huge vinyl collection and had decided to learn how to mix.

He also runs a school after appearing in many theatre productions such as Johnny Oil Strikes Back, The Taming of the Shrew, Twopence to Cross the Mersey, and Guards! Guards!.
