Upcoming film “Hi-5”;; is premiering this week!
“Hi-5”;; is a comic action adventure about five people who unexpectedly gain different superpowers through organ transplants and must defend themselves against those who seek to exploit their abilities.
Ahead of its release, here are three reasons to look forward to the film:
The unique concept and heartwarming narrative
“Hi-5”;; is gaining attention for its fresh concept of superpowers being transferred through organ transplants. The characters gain different abilities—like super strength, speed, powerful lung capacity that can create strong gusts of wind, healing abilities, and control over electromagnetic waves—based on the function of the organ they receive. These powers are visually represented with unique tattoos.
The story follows ordinary people from different walks of life—varying in age, personality, and occupation—who come together as a team through their new abilities. The film shows how their teamwork becomes truly powerful only when their unique powers are combined, delivering a heartwarming message of unity and growth.
The solid cast lineup
Another reason to be excited for “Hi-5”;; is its impressive cast. Lee Jae In plays a Taekwondo fighter with superhuman strength. Ahn Jae Hong stars as Ji Seong, an aspiring writer who gains incredible lung power after a transplant. Ra Mi Ran portrays Sun Nyeo, a woman who hasn’t discovered her power yet but is determined to find it. Kim Hee Won plays Yak Seon, who has healing abilities. Oh Jung Se takes on the role of Jong Min, an ordinary man whose deep fatherly love for his daughter Wan Seo becomes his greatest strength. GOT7’s Jinyoung plays the film’s villain Young Chun, the leader of a new religious group who gains the ability to become younger after receiving a pancreas transplant.
The exceptional production team
The strong production team behind “Hi-5”;; is another reason to look forward to the movie. The film is directed by Kang Hyung Chul, who is known for hits like “Scandal Makers,”;; “Sunny,”;; “Tazza: The Hidden Card,”;; and “Swing Kids.”;;

“Hi-5”;; is set to hit theaters on May 30.
