SBS’s “Spring of Youth”;; has revealed key points to look forward to as the drama enters its second half!

“Spring of Youth”;; tells the story of Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls and adjusts to college life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and rediscovers his passion for music by joining a campus band. N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub stars as Sa Gye’s romantic rival Seo Tae Yang.

Sa Gye’s next move after learning the truth

In episode 4, Sa Gye officially began dating Kim Bom. However, he was thrown into turmoil after hearing that Kim Bom’s late mother donated her corneas around the same time he received his cornea transplant. After seeing a photo of Kim Bom’s mother—given to him by her aunt Kim Ja Young (Cha Chung Hwa)—he realized she was the woman he had seen in his dreams. Sa Gye suspected that Kim Bom’s mother was present at the time and place of his surgery, leaving him shaken.

The love triangle between Sa Gye, Kim Bom, and Tae Yang

Seo Tae Yang, who has had a long-time crush on Kim Bom, hasn’t confessed yet but is clearly wary of Sa Gye’s growing closeness to her. In episode 4, Tae Yang was heartbroken when he saw Kim Bom kiss Sa Gye and say it was the first time she had felt truly happy since her mother’s death.

The fate of TWO SAGYE

In episode 4, the band TWO SAGYE—made up of Sa Gye, Kim Bom, Bae Gyu Ri (Seo Hye Won), and Gong Jin Gu (Kim Sun Min)—was set to have their first official performance at the Hanju University festival. However, their performance was sabotaged by Director Jo, leading to a last-minute cancellation.

Amid the chaos, Seo Tae Yang was forcibly hospitalized at Hanju University Hospital by guards hired by his father, Seo Min Chul (Kim Jong Tae). Fortunately, the band members worked together to free him, and TWO SAGYE managed to pull off a successful debut performance. Tae Yang later announced that he would take a leave from medical school to focus on the band, but TWO SAGYE was soon suspended by the university for a month, causing them to lose access to their clubroom. Still, Kim Bom vowed to resume practice after the suspension ended, using a song she composed herself, and asked Sa Gye to be the lead vocalist.
