“Our Movie”; tells the poignant love story of Lee Je Ha (Namkoong Min), a film director struggling with an uncertain future, and Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), an aspiring actress who is suffering from a terminal illness.

1. Will Lee Da Eum land the leading role?
After creating a legendary debut film and withdrawing from the public eye for five years, Lee Je Ha finally agrees to direct a remake of his late father’s masterpiece, thanks to the persistence of his close producer friend Boo Seung Won (Seo Hyun Woo). While doing research for the project, Je Ha meets Da Eum—a real terminally ill person introduced by a consulting doctor—and finds himself deeply inspired by her.
Things take an unexpected turn when Da Eum auditions for the lead role in“White Love.”; Casting a terminally ill actress raises ethical concerns and risks criticism from both the industry and the public. It also brings the danger that the film may be left unfinished, depending on her health. Viewers are curious to see what decision Je Ha will make as he faces this emotional and professional dilemma.
2. Can Je Ha and his former scandal partner Chae Seo Young work together again?
Five years ago, Je Ha and actress Chae Seo Young (Lee Seol) worked together on his debut film and became embroiled in a romance scandal. Though their relationship suggested deeper feelings, Je Ha ended up hurting Seo Young by asking her to help quash news of the scandal.
Chae Seo Young’s agency CEO, Go Hye Young (Seo Jeong Yeon), who witnessed Seo Young’s struggles during that time, is determined to keep her away from Je Ha. Still, Seo Young defies her agency’s wishes, burning with passion at the news that Je Ha will direct the “White Love”; remake. Will they be able to put the past behind them and work together again?
3. Will Je Ha and producer Boo Seung Won come into conflict?
Producer Boo Seung Won—dubbed the “Midas”; of the industry—went to great lengths to recruit Je Ha as director, not merely out of loyalty, but to realize his vision of a perfect narrative: the son of the legendary director Lee Doo Young remaking his father’s film and unveiling it at an international festival dedicated to Lee Doo Young’s legacy. For Seung Won, this powerful backstory and symbolic moment would ensure the remake’s success.
From the start, Je Ha and Seung Won seem destined to clash: Je Ha is focused on artistic integrity, while Seung Won is intent on commercial success. Their differences come to a head as they argue over who should play the film’s heroine, setting the stage for intense conflict.
