The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has disclosed that former Vice President of Nigeria, Abubakar Atiku, will be urged to withdraw in favor of former President Goodluck Jonathan in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele indicated that the international community, including the African Union, European Union, and the United States, alongside local figures such as TY Danjuma, Abubakar Abdulsalami, and Olusegun Obasanjo, will support this initiative.
The clergyman mentioned that Goodluck Jonathan will be encouraged to join the coalition opposing the current administration, stating that he will be positioned against President Bola Tinubu with the intention of serving only one term.
“I foresee that the AU, UK, USA, EU, and certain local influencers like TY Danjuma, Abubakar Abdulsalami, and Obasanjo will request Atiku to step aside for Jonathan before the 2027 presidential election, even within the coalition.
“They will persuade Jonathan to join the coalition and ensure he secures the nomination to challenge Tinubu in 2027. Although it will be a challenging endeavor, I perceive that plans are already underway.
“The discussions commenced in late December, but Tinubu remains unaware of their strategies against him.”
The prophet further reiterated his prophecy regarding the US President ‘caging’ Tinubu.
“As I previously stated, the US will be Tinubu’s most formidable opponent. Trump's desire is to see Tinubu removed from power, unless the president takes decisive political action. The international community will be involved in our elections, and we must proceed with caution.”
