Real Madrid forward, Vinícius Júnior, has claimed Brazil are not favourites to win the 2026 World Cup.
Vinicius was speaking to the media, ahead of the Selecao’s friendlt match with France.
According to him, their recent results do not put them top of favourites for the trophy.
“I believe we are not the favorites if we look at the recent results,” Vinicius said.
“But the weight of the national team jersey and the players we have here… all we need is to unite, and after Ancelotti’s arrival, we have a better understanding of how to play. This relieves a lot of pressure from us.
“We will do everything we can to bring Brazil back to the top. We don’t want to be the favorites; we want Brazil to be at the top.”
