2026 WCQ: Troost-Ekong, Onyemaechi lead Super Eagles to camp

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Bruno Onyemaechi, and Amas Obasogie are the early arrivals in Uyo as the Super Eagles open camp for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe on Monday.

The three players breezed into the team’s Four Points by Sheraton hotel base on Monday morning.

Troost-Ekong, and goalkeeper Obasogie arrived camp together, and were later joined by Onyemaechi.

More players are expected to hit camp later today.

Head coach Eric Chelle Invited 23 players for the qualifiers.

The team will have their first official training on Tuesday.

The session will hold at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
