Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has said he is only focused on his side’s clash with Bafana Bafana of South Africa, and not his future, DAILY POST reports.

Chelle’s job could be on the line should Nigeria lose to their hosts in Tuesday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture.

The three-time African champions have collected seven points from their last three games in the qualifiers.

The Super Eagles, however, still trail Bafana Bafana by six points on the Group C table.

Chelle said he is only thinking about tomorrow’s game.

“This is like that. I’m only focused on this game. My only focus is about my players. If the end of the story comes, this is football, I’m prepared for that,” the Malian told a press conference.
