2026 WCQ: Chelle to stick with Rwanda heroes for Zimbabwe clash

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle is set to keep faith with his starting X1 that defeated Rwanda 2-0 in Kigali in Tuesday's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

According to SCORENigeria, barring injuries or any unforseen circumstances, Chelle will use the same line-up for the game against the Warriors in Uyo.

Reliable goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was between the sticks in Kigali.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina and Bright Osayi-Samuel all featured in defence.

Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will once get the nod in midfield.

Samuel Chukwueze,who struggled to shine against the Amavubi will get another chance alongside wingers Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon.

Galatasaray hitman Victor Osimhen, who bagged a brace versus Rwanda, will lead the attack again.
