Flying Eagles striker Ricky Mendos is in confident mood ahead of the team’s Group B encounter with Kenya.
Nigeria and the Rising Stars will clash at the June 30 Air Defence Stadium, Cairo, on Wednesday (today).
The Flying Eagles need at least a draw to be sure of a place in the quarter-final.
Mendos, however, said they are optimistic of securing maximum points in the game.
“We have prepared well, the coaches have done well with us. We know how important this game is to our target in this competition,”; he declared.
“We will go all out and fight for the maximum points. It is important for us to win and top the group.”;
