2025 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles star Oliseh doubtful for semis

Published on May 12, 2025 at 08:42 PM

Flying Eagles midfielder Divine Oliseh is doubtful for the team’s semi-final clash at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations due to concussion protocol.

Oliseh was forced off during Nigeria’s quarter-final victory over Senegal in the 87th minute after suffering a head collision.

The Foster Academy player was replaced by Precious Benjamin.

A CAF medical doctor will now have to certify him fit to play again.

Nigeria will face either South Africa or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the last four at the Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia, on Thursday.

The encounter will kick off at 4 p.m. Nigerian time.
