A STUDENT has tragically died after falling 330ft from a cliff at a popular lookout while trying to snap the perfect photo, authorities say.
The 24-year-old woman had been hiking in ‘s Irkutsk region when she stumbled from a rocky ledge.

A regional branch of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation confirmed the tragic ordeal happened at the White Cliffs near the city of Usolye-Sibirskoye.
The agency said the woman had been taking pictures while standing on a ledge on Sunday, before trying to climb back down.
On her descent the ground beneath her gave way, causing her to fall.
The student sustained severe injuries following the fall.
She sadly died on the way in an ambulance on the journey to the hospital.
An has been launched into the circumstances of the fatal fall with witnesses still being interviewed.
Authorities are still deciding on whether they will open a criminal case.
The area where she fell is close to the Belaya River – a popular tourist spot, according to the Aureilan .
The woman’s tragic fall has added to a series of recent similar fatal accidents from cliffs and mountainous areas in .
In April, a local resident in Sochi died after falling from a viewing platform on the side of a cliff.
Another tragedy took place in Dragon’s Mouth cave near the Adler district, where a 24-year-old female caver fell while climbing down.
And last year, a 21-year-old tourist died in the mountains near Lake Baikal after trying to leap across a crevice.
It comes after authorities believe they have found the body of an American tourist in Scotland after he vanished while hiking a notorious killer ridge.
The believed remains of holidaymaker Timothy Rosser, 60, were found near the the Aonach Eagach ridge on Sunday, according to Police Scotland.
Formal identification has yet to take place however, the family of Mr Rosser had been informed.
A force spokesperson said: “The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
The blackspot is the same ridge that three people died three years ago in what was Scotland’s worst summer mountain climbing tragedy.
