WIMBLEDON 2026 is almost here, and the BBC has delivered a massive shake-up for its coverage as bosses face pressure to modernise.
The broadcaster will be hoping new presenter signings will be enough to see it retain the rights when its current contract expires at the end of 2027’s tournament.

So who will be on our screens to guide us through the action of this year’s edition – which begins on June 29?
Who are the lead presenters for the BBC’s Wimbledon 2026 coverage?
Holding court at the top of the tree are two very familiar faces.
CBE and cricketer-turned-tennis pundit Isa Guha MBE are back to spearhead the daily coverage.
The duo will guide viewers through all the high-stakes action across , , and .
Isa will be setting the scene early doors, fronting the morning and early afternoon coverage before handing over to Clare, who will present the late afternoon and evening coverage.
Nightly highlights show, Today at . will also return, but will not feature any presenters or pundits after .
The round-up show has also been moved from its previously held prime-time slots at 8pm and later 9pm to the 11pm until midnight slot.
Today at Wimbledon has been broadcast by the Beeb since 1964, but an unpopular attempt to revamp it in 2023 went down badly with viewers.

Who are the new pundits – and which legends are returning?
The BBC has gone all-out to inject some serious fresh expert insight into the commentary box this year.
Eight-time Grand Slam champion and American icon Andre Agassi leads a star-studded list of new signings, alongside Andy Murray’s doubles-specialist brother OBE.
Also joining the roster is British favorite and Canadian Genie Bouchard.
The new presenting faces will flank an elite army of returning legends, including , who will be back with his fiery, unfiltered opinions.
He’ll appear alongside Martina Navratilova, Pat Cash, Tracy Austin, and Billie Jean King.
Homegrown heroes Tim Henman OBE, , and will also be on hand to offer expert analysis on Great Britain’s hopes.
Gigi Salmon and Clare McDonnell will bring the atmosphere of SW19 to life across , 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds.
BBC Tennis Correspondent Russell Fuller will continue to lead the BBC’s cross-platform tennis journalism, as well as commentating on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Who’s not returning this year?
It is officially game, set, and match for one broadcasting stalwart, with Andrew Castle announcing he is to commentate on his last Wimbledon after 23 years of calling big matches.
The 62-year-old former British No. 1 chose to walk away from the corporation to focus on a new chapter of life.
While he will still commentate on this 2026 tournament, this summer will be his final emotional swan song at SW19.
Also missing from the line-up is German legend .
Despite being free to enter the UK following his high-profile 2022 prison sentence, Becker has been ‘snubbed’ by BBC bosses who declined to welcome the three-time champion back to the commentary fold.
