A Professor of Strategic Management and Human Capital Development, Okey Ikechukwu, has stated that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is a significant factor contributing to the crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, which was monitored by DAILY POST, Ikechukwu also mentioned that former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has, to some extent, played a role in the challenges faced by the PDP.

He was addressing the ongoing internal political disputes that have long affected the party.

“The PDP is facing numerous crises. Wike has been a central figure in this, along with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to some degree.

“Why hasn’t Wike been suspended from the party yet? He was not suspended after he opposed the PDP during the 2023 elections.

“He has been disruptive within the party. This situation portrays an image of a party that has completely lost its ability to maintain a clear identity.

“Additionally, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar mentioned that the APC is the one destabilizing the party with financial influence.
I questioned what kind of political party could be destabilized by money; it must be a group of clowns.

“It’s disheartening because I am aware of the history of this party. I was involved in the PDP campaigns in 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2023,” he expressed.
