Unity Cup 2025: Jamaica through to final as Super Eagles battle Ghana

Jamaica are through to the final of the 2025 Unity Cup, following a dramatic 3-2 win over Trinidad & Tobago in a thrilling semi-final clash on Tuesday.

The Reggae Boys raced into a 2-0 lead at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford.

Trinidad & Tobago mounted a spirited fightback, but eventually lost thanks to a stoppage-time penalty.

Kasey Palmer gave Jamaica the lead in the 25th minute from 12 yards.

Eight minutes into the second half, Rumarn Burrell doubled their advantage with a composed finish.

Within a minute, Isaiah Leacock reduced the deficit with a powerful strike, before Kevin Molino scored an equaliser to make it 2-2.

With the game heading towards extra time, Richard King kept his cool to convert a dramatic late penalty in the fourth minute of extra time.

They will now face the winner of Wednesday’s semi-final between Nigeria and Ghana.
