Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has claimed that 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is a mix between Brazilian legend Ronaldo and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Ferdinand believes that Mbappe’s pace, flair and finishing ability mean that he can be compared to two of the standout strikers of the past.
Mbappe was impressive as PSG defeated Juventus 2-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The France international scored a superb solo goal as PSG defeated Juventus in Italy.
Speaking on BT Sport, Ferdinand said: “I think he’s more of a product of a mix between Ronaldo (R9) and Thierry Henry. A little bit.
“I might be taking it back too far, but it is a great mix to be in! Imagine being that mix.”
