Nigeria defender, Zaidu Sanusi will be assessed by Porto after he was substituted early in the second half against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday as a result of injury.
The Portuguese giants won the UEFA Champions League clash at the Estadio do Dragao 2-1.
Sanusi was replaced by Brazil left-back, Wendell in the 53rd minute.
“Nigerian winger was substituted in the 53rd minute. Zaidu who left supported by his teammates in the 53rd minute of the game against Atlético de Madrid, having replaced Wendell.
He presented muscle complaints in the left adductor and will be evaluated by the clinical department,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
The 25-year-old could miss Porto’s league clash against Pacos de Ferreira this weekend.
He also remains a doubt for Nigeria’s upcoming international friendly against Portugal in Lisbon on November 17.
