Nigeria’s Flamingos lost 3-1 to Fenerbahce Ladies in their last friendly ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Bankole Olowookere’s girls defeated Galatasaray Ladies with the same scoreline last Saturday.
Busan Sekar opened scoring for Fenerbahce on 35 minutes, while she added the second 10 minutes before regulation time.
Etim Edidiong reduced the deficit for the Flamingos on the dot of 90 minutes.
Nina Kpaho, however, restored Fenerbahce’s two-goal lead deep into stoppage time.
The Flamingos will now shift attention to their opening World Cup game against Germany at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 11.
Three days later, they face New Zealand at the same venue before taking on Chile in their last group game on October 17.
