The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, has urged the Sokoto State Government to involve traditional leaders in the implementation of the N70,000 minimum wage.
This request was made on Sunday during a Town Hall meeting organized by the State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, in preparation for the submission of the state’s 2026 budget proposal. The Sultan was represented by the District Head of Wurno, Alhaji Kabiru Cigari-Alhassan.
