THIS is the sickening moment a cruel pet owner is caught on CCTV unleashing a heinous attack on his dog.
The harrowing footage shows Mason Sestanovich, 24, brutally beating his cowering pooch called Chicago at a block of flats in .

Disturbing CCTV clip showed the thug punching, kicking and slapping the terrified dog as she shook with fear.

The RSPCA launched an investigation after the video was handed to the by a housing manager in October 2023.
Sestanovich was later given a suspended prison sentence and banned from owning for life after the shocking abuse was exposed.

An RSPCA officer later attended Sestanovich’s flat.
They found Chicago being kept in a crate without any bedding or water.
Sestanovich, from Wincobank, Sheffield, was charged under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 with inflicting blunt force trauma, physical violence and intimidatory behaviour on the dog.
He admitted the offences at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
There he was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
The yob was also ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
He must also pay £400 court costs and a victim surcharge of £154.
A clinical behaviourist for the RSPCA who examined the footage said: “Chicago was grabbed roughly and beaten and the dog’s body language expressed extreme fear and the violence of the man’s gestures indicates the blows were delivered to the dog with extreme violence and caused pain.”
A vet who examined Chicago said a full-body scan showed no evidence of historic injuries.
Blood tests revealed the dog had suffered stress that may have been caused by the beatings.
The vet added: “During the beating (on the footage) it was obvious the dog was scared as she was cowering and defecating.”
Sestanovich claimed Chicago was an XL bulldog but refused to sign the dog over to the RSPCA or register her despite being told he needed to comply with the .
Chicago was later assessed at a rehoming centre and confirmed to be an XL bully.
Due to current Government legislation surrounding typed , the tragic pooch had to be put down.
The court heard Sestanovich regretted his actions and was ashamed of the way he treated the dog.
