Lou, who is , admitted that “nothing in fits” her as a plus-size woman, so she was even more excited when she nabbed in her size.
“You don’t understand – I literally nearly lost my mind when I saw this set,” she began her TikTok video.
“Everyone’s saying this is kind of a Zara look, and as people may know as a plus-size person nothing in Zara fits me – so having this as an option in is amazing.”
The co-ord consists of a khaki sleeveless top with a funnel neck and buttons to do it up, alongside a pair of trousers zip and clasp closure, with elastication on the back.
“So if you’re going out wearing these eating you ain’t got to worry have you!” Lou added.
The bottoms come in at £29.50 while the top is £25.
She did say that the trousers look a bit short for a regular cut, but added she “cannot wait” to try the set on.
“Can you imagine how good this is going to look?” she gushed.
“I’ve only seen it on people that are 12 and below, so I’m going to show it as a plus-sized person.”
Lou did just that in the next video , as she sported the set with a pair of black loafers and a Christian Dior handbag.
She turned slowly to show the co-ord from every angle, before admitting the set is a “10 out of 10”.
And people in the comments section were quick to agree.
“That’s gorgeous, so flattering, keep, keep, keep!!!” one wrote.
“Honestly this set is stunning, love it fits plus size,” Lou replied.
“That looks sooooo good on you,” another gushed.
As a third commented: “Oh it looks amazing on you!”
Reasons to shop supermarket fashion
When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there's no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg...
They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.
It’s affordable – For basics to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.
They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.
They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.
“You rock every item,” someone else praised.
“I want this set but have a belly.”
“I have a belly too and so does everyone- get the set and wear it, only live once,” Lou responded.
“I have this and I love it,” another commented. “You look amazing in it!”
“It is so nice, I’m really impressed with it,” Lou added.
