A WOMAN who has lost six stone in weight has admitted there’s a side effect nobody talks about.
Louise has managed to shed the incredible amount in less than a year, and has opened up about her journey in videos on her TikTok page.

But shelling out for new clothes to fit her newly-slim figure has been priceyCredit: tiktok/@louiselifeee
However, she admitted there’s one issue she’s been facing since she transformed her figure – namely the cost of doing so.
“When I was bigger I didn’t bother– I just bought the cheapest clothes that looked okay on my body, mostly just because I knew I never wanted to stay that size forever,” she explained.
But now that she’s lost weight, she decided to look into treating herself to some new clothes – and perused the options on s Maebe sites.
“I am sorry but the prices!” she gasped.
“I mean stunning, not taken away from the fact that the clothes are really, really nice.
“But ya girl hasn’t got £85 to drop on a zip-up hoodie!”
She went on to insist that replacing “even just the fundamental parts of your wardrobe” – such as basics like underwear and T-shirts – is “so bloody expensive”.
“I have gone from a size 18/20 to a and it is costing a flipping fortune just to replace my clothing,” Louise sighed.
“And I know you could probably say oh just do it slowly but I need things to wear – like I literally need clothes to wear.
“And it’s all well and good going to like Primark but even stuff there is expensive now!”
She went on to say that while she’s “not complaining about it” and is absolutely thrilled with her she wishes she’d had the hindsight to put money aside to afford a new wardrobe.
“Well and truly humbled on a Wednesday afternoon,” Louise captioned her video.
“@Maebe I really do love your clothes – but I’ll come back when I’ve made my millions!”
And people in the comments section were quick to weigh in on the video, with many insisting they could entirely relate to Louise’s quandary.
“I feel your pain!” one wrote.
“I despise buying myself new clothes because, mum guilt, and I hate spending on myself.”
How do you work out your BMI, and what do the results mean?
THE BMI (Body Mass Index) is a calculation that's made using someone's height and weight.
To work out your BMI, you first need to note your weight in pounds (there are 14 pounds in a stone).
Once you have that, divide the answer by your height in inches (there are 12 inches in a foot).
Then, divide that answer by your height in inches again.
That will give you your BMI.
If you have a BMI of under 18.5, you are “underweight and possibly malnourished”.
If it’s between 18.5 to 24.9 , you “have a healthy weight range for young and middle-aged adults”.
If it’s between 25.0 and 29.9, you’re overweight.
And a BMI of over 30 means “you are obese”.
While BMI has long been used as a measurement within the NHS, there have been calls to abolish it for some time now, as it doesn’t “take into account muscle mass, bone density, overall body composition, and racial and sex differences,” researchers at the Perelman School of Medicine in the University of Pennsylvania.
“Trust me, Primark tracksuits for kids!” another added.
“I’ve changed the same amount of size as you and I wear 13-14 Primark children tracksuits or M&S.”
!I’ve been selling on Vinted, and then I use the money to buy high quality key items…that I then wear to death,” a third wrote.
“I look the same every day!”
As someone else laughed: “Girl, this is why I’m still wearing size 20 bloomers and size 20 hoodies!”
