A BALLSY Grand National punter has placed one of the biggest bets EVER on a horse in today’s race.
Popular bookie Johnny Dineen revealed on ITV he had someone stake £100,000 on I Am Maximus at 8-1.

The JP McManus-owned horse won the National in 2024 and was runner-up last year.
Should the horse, who is trained by Willie Mullins and will be ridden by Paul Townend, win, the punter will make £800,000 profit.
All in all the £100,000 bet returns an astronomical £900,000.
Irish bookie Dineen said it was the biggest bet he had ever laid.
He seems happy enough to take on the Aintree specialist, who carries top weight in the world’s most famous race.
The big market move has been for champion trainer-elect Dan Skelton’s wondermare Panic Attack.
Available at 20-1 last week she has been clobbered into 7-1 favourite alongside billionaire supremo McManus’ other horse Jagwar.
Those two head the market ahead of Mullins’ Grangeclare West, who was third last year.
He sits at 8-1 with I Am Maximus, with yet another McManus runner, Johnnywho, sitting at around 9-1 in the market.
More to follow.
