Her family said she died on Tuesday – 10 days after another concertgoer accidentally struck her in the head during the May 16 show in Maryland Heights.

“It is with absolutely shattered hearts that we share that our beautiful Danielle passed away on May 26th at 1:54 PM,” her cousins wrote on GoFundMe Wednesday.

Danielle, who worked as an attendance secretary at St. Charles High School, initially brushed off the incident.

But three days later she was rushed to hospital suffering from a severe headache.

Doctors discovered a brain bleed they suspect was caused by the kick.

During a week-long hospitalization, Danielle suffered two strokes and unnderwent emergency surgery.

Her family said doctors removed six pints of blood and several blood clots.

Relatives also revealed surgeons discovered an unidentified “underlying condition” that may never have been found if the brain bleed had not happened.

Danielle was later placed into a medically induced coma after a May 22 procedure to reduce swelling on her brain while the rest of her body recovered.

In one final act of generosity, she became an organ donor before her death.

“Even through unimaginable grief, Danielle’s immediate family made the incredibly selfless decision to honor her giving spirit through organ donation so that others may have a second chance at life,” her relatives wrote.

Her family said she was honored with a “beautiful honor walk” though the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, surrounded by loved ones and medical staff, before being transported to Mid-America Transplant in St. Louis.

Danielle had celebrated her engagement to fiancé Jason in August 2025, with the couple planning to marry next April.

“We have a long road ahead of us, but we’re going to get there! There’s no one tougher in the would to get through this,” Jason wrote on May 23.

“I love you so many!! You have 11 months to get ready for the aisle, baybos!”

Friends and family remembered Danielle as a lifelong St. Louis Blues fan who loved music and traveling.

“Danielle was loved by so many. She had the kindest heart, a beautiful smile, and a spirit that could light up any room, and she was the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward because of her warmth, humor, and the way she made others feel seen and loved,” her family wrote.

Pointfest is an annual music festival hosted by alternative rock station 105.1 “The Point” at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater near St. Louis.

Rock band Staind headlined the event after performances from Blue October, Mammoth, Highly Suspect and Sleep Theory.
